Since I started this blog when I was pregnant with Gretchen, I never got the chance to recap our wedding.  I decided this week would be the best since our 1 year anniversary is coming up on Friday.  I can't believe just one year ago today I was frantically trying to figure out last minute details for our reception - although by this time I had refused to make any decisions. We were on a tight budget and pretty much did everything for our wedding DIY style and I was stressed to say the least.

I give Pinterest credit for how our reception turned out.  A DIY wedding was very time consuming.  I think for 5 months straight Dave and I were either scouring Craigslist, painting, crafting, or planning what was next.  We had so much fun though because we got to bond with our family and friends who helped us out and it would not be possible without them.  Here is to remembering how our hard work paid off.
