Ralph 6 Month Update

So many smiles today!

Weight:  16 pounds 14.5 ounces

Height:  27.5 inches

Clothing Size:  9 months...but they are getting small!!!!!  He is a big boy.

Eating:  Just breastmilk.  I think this next month I am going to give him some mashed up food...I am excited to see what he thinks.

Sleeping:  Naps are amazing!!  He takes 3-4 naps a day and at least one of them is over 2 hours!  Night time sleep has gotten worse.  Ever since he was sick he has been waking up more during the night than he does during the day.  I just started re-sleep training him.  He is still in our room though so it looks like I might be camping out on the couch the next couple of days.

Health:  He had a cold at the beginning of the month, but he is better now!

Speech:  No words just lots of sounds.  He has a raspy voice though - it is so cute!

Nicknames:   Ralpharooski, The Big Man, Ralpharoo, Ralphie, Mr. Squishy Face.

Personality:  He is such a happy and easy going baby!  The only time he really cries is when he is tired or hungry.  He loves to cuddle and to be carried around, but he also loves rolling around on the floor.  He is becoming very aware of his surroundings and likes to go shopping so he can look around at everything.  He especially love watching his big sis jump around and smiles at her all the time.

Baby Gear Love:  His Jumperoo...he is a HUGE fan of this.  Gretchen on the other hand does not like that she is too big for it now.

Milestones:  He can roll in every direction now!

Likes:  He LOVEs his sister.  It is his favorite thing when she lays down right next to him when he is getting his diaper changed.  He also loves watching her run around and smiles and laughs at her often.  He also likes to be pampered...he LOVES when you tickle him or just hold him on your lap to cuddle.

Dislikes:   There is not much this little guy doesn't like!

Things I Don't Want To Forget:

 Getting his first CHRISTMAS TREE!

First time seeing SNOW!  We went sledding the day after Thanksgiving.

 Cousin Love!

First trip to Seattle to see Santa...he had a massive wedgie the whole day lol.

Mommy snuggles!

He loves laying on my lap and watching TV when he is done eating.

First snow at home!

Trip to Leavenworth!

These leg rolls!!!!!!

And the hair is still straight up!!!!

Ralph 5 Month Update

Someone was Mr. serious for their photoshoot...I have about 100 pictures that all look like this.   You gotta love the rosey cheeks though.

Weight:  A little over 16 pounds.

Height: Not sure...definitely a few inches over 2 feet.  He is tall!

Clothing Size:  9 months...they are a little baggy but the 6 month clothes are tight.

Eating:  Like a champ!  Still only breastfeeding.

Sleeping:  He got a cold this month so he has been waking a ton the past few weeks.  Normally he will sleep from 7am-7pm with 1-2 night feedings.

Health:  Perfect!  Except he farts a TON!  Like all the time.  I'm sure it is normal for a boy his age though.

Speech:  He is pretty quiet compared to Gretchen at this age, although he will definitely let you know when he is upset or hungry!

Nicknames:   Ralpharooski, The Big Man, Ralpharoo, Ralphie, Mr. Squishy Face.

Personality: He is so easy going and loves to smile (except in his 5 month photoshoot lol)  He also LOVES to cuddle and lay on my lap after I nurse him.  He is super observant and spends most of his awake time watching his crazy sister run around.  He loves hugs and kisses and he loves to dance and laughs all the time.

Baby Gear Love:  My Baby K'Tan.  WAAAAAY easier to put on than a Moby and he fits snug as a bug.

Milestones:  He is a rolling machine!  He rolls from one side of the room to the other and fast...but then he stops because he can only roll the one way.

Likes:  Cuddling and being tickled.  He also loves playing with/chewing on burp cloths!  It calms him.

Dislikes:  Not a huge fan of bath or getting his diaper changed.  He also does not like to be hungry.

Things I Don't Want To Forget:

Carrying him around with me in the wrap wherever I go!

First time at the pumpkin patch!

His first Halloween as a garden gnome!

Finding random photos on my phone of my 3 favorite people!

How much his sissy loves him even when she doesn't want to take a picture.

Cuddles!!!

More brother/sister LOVE!  Gretchen ALWAYS wants to hold Ralph!

And this cute face!!
