Ralph 10 & 11 Month Blog

10 MONTHS

11 MONTHS

Weight: Somewhere around 20 pounds.

Height: If I had to guess 28-30 inches. He is pretty long.

Clothing Size: 12 months, although they are getting really snug.

Eating: This boy LOVES peanut butter. He will eat toast with peanut butter and he will eat cheerios and that is basically it for finger foods. He still loves his baby food, especially prunes. Trying to phase that out though.

I also weaned him from breastfeeding at 10 months and he is now drinking all the milk I spent months pumpking from a cup. :)

Sleeping: He is taking 2 naps a day and sleeps through the night. There was a week though when he was teething pretty bad and barely slept. Poor guy :( He wouldn't let me put him down.

Health: Super healthy!

Speech: He babbles...but not a ton. Definitely not as much as Gretchen...probably because she spends most of the day talking and he can't get a word in. He can't quite say mama or dada but when I try to get him to say it he will smile really big and start babbling.

Nicknames: The Big Man, Ralpharoo, Ralpharooski, Mr. Ralph, Roo Bear, Ralphie, My Precious Angel, Bug, Buddy (Gretchen especially loves to calls him this one.)

Personality: Mr. Ralphie is the sweetest baby ever! He loves to cuddle and is very mellow. Now that he is getting faster at crawling, he will follow his sister a around everywhere and constantly watches her. If he wants to be held, he will crawl right up to your feet and start whining.

He is also very smiley and happy all the time! Anytime you pick him up he will just look at you and get a big grin on his face. He is very sensitive and will immediately start crying if anyone raises their voice or if you tell him no (for opening cupboards he shouldn't be - luckily he doesn't pull anything out). Such a gentle soul! I love him so very much!!!

Baby Gear Love: Ergo Baby Carrier so I can wear him on my back! This was a lifesaver when he was teething and cranky and wouldn't let me put him down.

Milestones: 8 teeth! He is also pushing himself up to sitting!

Likes: To be held and to cuddle. He also LOVES peanut butter!

Dislikes: He doesn't mind loud noises, but he HATES if anyone raises their voice. If Gretchen screams at all, it scares him and he will cry.

He looks so dang cute in his hat. This was the day he learned to pull it off.

He will NOT take a bottle! Only the real deal for this guy. It took 20 different bottles/cups to find one that he would take.

His favorite toy to play with at the doctor.

All the snuggles!!!

Always in front in the stroller! Gretchen likes to torment him from the back.

Officially trying Costco samples. I love putting them next to each other in the cart!

Snuggles, snuggles, and more snuggles!

Wearing Christmas jammies still. Lol.

They love eachother so much! Although now that he is getting bigger, Gretchen isn'ts as gentle.

Cousins!!

More trips to COSTCO! He loves samples.

First Easter! This bow tie though...

11 MONTHS

All the smiles!

Interested in my phone...

First time in a pool. He did NOT like it! I think because it was cold. He preferred sitting on my lap and dipping his feet into the hot tub.

Church! So reverent!

Another hair cut! We shaved his head this time. It grows too fast.

Checking out his new teeth. I love that he looks like a puppy!

Still leading the front in the stroller. This was about 2 seconds before he ripped his hat off and threw it out. Luckily it was still on the side of the road on our walk back.
